The AMPSAMPS Vintage Console Boost Deluxe (VCBD) is the same awesome Vintage Console Boost, but with a custom Cinemag Input Transformer that gives your signal a step-up and adds clarity and fullness to your instruments tone that you will find... you can't live without!

The boost is based on the negative feedback-style controls found in classic 1960s recording console inputs. It's designed to provide a transparent boost, offering up to 60x unity gain, and is known for adding high-end clarity and sustain to a guitar signal. The pedal's design also includes a high input impedance which helps preserve the original tone of the guitar and pickups. When driven hard, the VCB can also produce a smooth, natural distortion, reminiscent of tube triode overload. Note: crackle when increasing or decreasing the volume is due to the control re-biasing the BS170 transistor.
