Inspired by Ry Cooder's “Green Man”, the Grey Man is built for the feel, harmonic complexity, and dynamic response that only a real tube front end delivers. With a 12AX7 running as an actual high-voltage tube gain stage, and the result is a rich, touch-sensitive overdrive that moves effortlessly from edge-of-breakup grit to thick, singing sustain while preserving the character of your guitar and amp. The simple Volume and Tone controls make dialing in sounds quick, while the circuit naturally cleans up from your guitar's volume knob and responds to picking dynamics the way a great vintage amp should.

The Grey Man also doubles as a premium signal splitter. Two isolated outputs let you feed two amps simultaneously without the hum, ground loops, or phase headaches that plague typical Y or jumper cables. One output is direct, while the second passes through a high-quality isolation transformer and includes Ground Lift and Phase Reverse switches for quiet, trouble-free dual-amp rigs.
